Those who knew me then, saw how he brought me from a mighty long way.
Those who see me now, won’t believe when I say I’ve here before.
Like a dog going back to its vomit.
But I know he kept me cos someone was praying for me.
And when troubles came that swept me of my feet,
Though I should have been strong, I fell so quickly
But i'm standing today cos someone spent some time praying for me
My testimonies are so great.
He snatched me from death claws,
wiped away my past,
and gave me new life all cos someone kept praying for me.
So please don’t think your fasting is just starvation,
Or your prayers are in vain,
For the prayers of righteous avail much,
and for those who believe - all things are possible in his name.
He came to my rescue when I didn’t know I needed help,
All cos someone kept praying for me.
So if you have been waiting on God,
don’t give up now cos you can’t see the results.
If you believe He answers prayers,
Then you know your case is settled.
It took a while for me to be truly saved,
But my salvation started the second her knees hit the ground.
Thank God she never stopped praying for me!
